Our Standards

Certified, and checked in person.

We work only with sewing facilities and factories that meet strict quality standards. Our team has visited them in person and followed production from start to finish, so everything we make lives up to the standards we set for quality, safety and craftsmanship.

How we work

Three checks before anything reaches you.

  1. 01

    Certified partners

We only produce with partners that meet strict, internationally recognized quality and safety standards.

  2. 02

    Seen in person

The KENZEN team visits the factories and follows the production process from start to finish.

  3. 03

    Tested fabrics

Our fabrics are tested for harmful substances, so they're safe to wear directly against your skin.

The standards

What we hold ourselves to.

Some of these are independent certifications, others are rules and requirements we follow. Each one is labeled, so you know exactly what it is.

01

OEKO-TEX® Standard 100

Certification · Class I
What it is

One of the world's best-known safety standards for textiles. Fabrics are tested by an independent institute for a long list of harmful substances. Product Class I is the strictest class, with the limits set for baby items.

What it means for you

The fabrics in your KENZEN pieces are tested to the strictest level and are safe for direct, all-day contact with your skin, during training or everyday wear.

Check it yourself: every OEKO-TEX® certificate can be verified with its number at oeko-tex.com/label-check.

02

REACH

Regulation · EU
What it is

The European Union's chemicals regulation. It sets strict requirements for chemical safety, health and environmental protection for all products sold in the European Economic Area (EEA).

What it means for you

We hold our production to the same EU standard for every market we ship to, wherever you are.

03

AZO-free dyes

Requirement
What it is

Certain AZO dyes can break down into harmful aromatic amines and are banned in textiles. Our fabrics are made without them.

What it means for you

Peace of mind for garments you wear directly against your skin, like leggings, bras and tanks.
